Dennis Wojda, born in 1973, a Polish illustrator and editorial designer living in Sweden, immortalises the story of his family through several generations and the tumultuous events of the twentieth century in this moving graphic novel. Like many descendants of families who lived through the uncertainties and traumas of war and political upheaval, (especially in central Europe), it is frankly incredible that some of us are actually here at all.
Funny, creepy, tragic, comedic and desperate, 566 Frames is a comic book with a real heart.
